The NSMC is working with the Department of Health and UCL’s Institute of Health Equity on a programme of work to address health inequalities in England.
We are currently searching for evidence of international projects in which social marketing approaches have been used to address the social determinants of health inequalities.
If you have been involved with (or are aware) of any such projects, it would be greatly appreciated if you could forward the case studies to The NSMC. We will be evaluating all case studies received to establish how social marketing can be best used to address the social determinants of health.
If you are not aware of any case studies you can still help! We are seeking the views of social marketing and behaviour change practitioners on the following:
1. Can social marketing help address the social determinants of health?
2. How can social marketing help to tackle the social determinants of health?
The best case studies will be contained in a report that will form part of evidence submitted to the Department of Health and could also be included in our Show Case of best practice.
Please send your responses to firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday 18th May.
