The King's Fund have announced two new conferences on prevention, equality and inequality:

Equality and inequality in health: measuring and commissioning for equity
Thursday 11 March 2010, 9.30am-4.15pm, London

This low-cost conference will focus on measuring and commissioning for equitable health care services. The conference will offer an update on how policy on inequalities and equality is being brought together, and feature practical examples of how to use data to measure inequalities and commission services that are fair and accessible.

Prevention and health inequalities: achieving cost-effective and evidence-based solutions to impact on whole populations
30 March 2010, 9.30am-4.30pm, The King's Fund, London

This conference, run in partnership with the Department of Health's Health Inequalities National Support Team and The King's Fund, will look at how prevention initiatives can be evaluated and will explore what is currently working in practice.

Details and booking for both of these events can be found on the King's Fund website.
